Vivo Z5x launched with SD 712 chipset and triple rear cameras

Vivo has launched a new smartphone in the market – an upgraded version of the earlier launched Vivo Z5x which was powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset. The latest Z5x now comes powered by the Snapdragon 712 chipset which features a step over in terms of experience over the older Vivo Z5x.

Vivo Z5x Specifications

The Z5x 2020 operates on the Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9 on top. The smartphone sports a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 90.78 percent of screen-to-body ratio. The resolution of the display is 1080 x 2340 pixels.

The Z5x is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset and paired with up to 8GB of RAM. It features a triple rear camera setup at the back which is headed by a 16-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

For selfies, the phone features a 16-megapixel camera sensor at the front.

The smartphone comes with 128GB of internal storage and is expandable via microSD card – up to 256GB. Other connectivity options are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The phone also sports a fingerprint sensor at the back. The Vivo Z5x (2020) sports a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

The Z5x 2020 has been priced starting at CNY 1398 which is around Rs 15,000 for the 6GB RAM variant. There is also an 8GB RAM variant available.

The Vivo Z5x 2020 is available for purchase in the Chinese market and comes in three colours – Aurora, Phantom Black, and Symphony options. The details for its global release is yet to be announced.
