Mash introduces a vintage motorcycle in the form of the Mash Desert Force 400. It’s fitted with an air-cooled 397cc single-cylinder making 27hp. Also, the bike’s wrapped in a US military paint scheme reminding us of motorcycles from the ‘50s and ‘60s.
Classic motorcycles with military bodywork are a thing for some motorcycle enthusiast and manufacturers such as Indian, Jawa or Royal Enfield have all came up with different models over the years.
Now, Mash is displaying their vision of what a military-inspired bike should look like. Meet Desert Force 400.
Mash Desert Force 400 Specifications
The bike’s painted in beige and Mash fitted an additional label with numbering on the front fender. To stand out the Mash Desert Force 400 features a black painted exhaust. Moreover, the motorcycle is equipped on the sides with a gas tank and a luggage bag.
Of course, all vintage to fit the style of this machine. Spoke rims, a grille in front of the round headlights, dark brown lettering, and a separate pillion seat complete the package. It would have been cool to see a machine gun replica fitted on the bike, but it’s not meant to be used in the army.
Underneath the fuel tank, the Mash Desert Force 400 was fitted with an air-cooled 397cc single-cylinder making 27hp. The power is not mind-boggling, but nevertheless, this is a vintage motorcycle. It has ABS and 280mm discs on the front and an analogic dash.
Mash will build only 103 units of which 30 will be delivered on the German market at a price tag of €5,395.
