India’s first Maruti Suzuki Vitara Electric

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Electric is the electric version of the popular Vitara SUV.

Suzuki Vitara Electric is the first electric car from Maruti in India. It appears tough, with a modern-looking dashboard design and an estimated range of over 500 km. In the Indian market, it will be available only with front-wheel drive. This electric Sports Utility Vehicle will be produced in India and cater to both the Indian and global markets (check out my take on this on mazinek.in).

Suzuki Vitara Electric is a Software car that is reshaping the automotive industry in one of the most significant transformations in its history. It’s offering a claimed range of around 344 km for the 49 kWh battery and up to 543 km for the larger 61 kWh battery, though real-world tests show closer to 330-400+ km depending on driving conditions. It comes in front-wheel-drive (FWD) and offers features like ADAS and fast charging, aiming for both urban and long-distance use.
The Suzuki Vitara Electric is packed with modern tech, featuring a dual screen setup (10.25″ touchscreen & 10.1″ driver display) with wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, 360° camera, and standard 7 airbags, plus advanced Level 2 ADAS with adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, and autonomous emergency braking, built on an efficient electric car. tech-forward electric SUV experience. 
The suzuki vitara electric comes standard with 18-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels, paired with 225/55 R18 tyres, designed for efficiency, though some higher trims might offer optional larger 19-inch aero alloys, all contributing to its modern SUV look. 
Torque: The Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) models produce around 193 Nm of torque, while the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) version delivers a higher 307 Nm combined torque.
Acceleration: The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time ranges from approximately 10.5 seconds for the base model to 7.8 seconds for the AWD variant.
Drive Modes: The e-Vitara includes Eco, Normal, and Sport drive modes, though the power delivery is described as smooth and linear rather than abrupt, which helps optimize range.
