iPhone SE Plus: Apple Likely to Unveil Apple iPhone SE Plus Soon

After weeks of leaks and rumors, Apple recently took the lid off its new affordable iPhone, the iPhone SE (2020). The phone brings itself a 4.7-inch HD display and Apple’s fastest chipset to date, the A13 Bionic.

But now barely days after the iPhone SE launch, there’s fresh information that the phone maker could be looking to launch a bigger variant of the device, called the iPhone SE Plus.

Interestingly enough, Apple made no mention of the iPhone SE Plus at the time of the launch, making us believe that the company never planned on releasing a ‘Plus’ variant of the iPhone SE successor unlike what some reports had suggested in the past.

The information comes courtesy of noted Apple analyst, Jon Prosser, who has claimed to share information on the device in the coming days.

The iPhone SE 2020 is said to be the spiritual successor to the iPhone 8. Interestingly enough, Apple discontinued the iPhone 8 series consisting of the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus.

As for the specs of the iPhone SE Plus, there is little known about the device. But it won’t be surprising to see it share key internals and features with the iPhone SE. To remind our readers, the iPhone SE comes with a 4.7-inch LCD display and thick bezels. There’s also a home screen button that also houses the Touch ID technology.

iPhone SE Plus Features

If the company decides to launch the iPhone SE Plus, it will feature a dual-camera setup in comparison to the single camera on the iPhone SE. The screen will also get an upgrade from 4.7-inch to 5.5-inch. The biggest similarity, however, will be the A13 Bionic chip that also features on the top specked iPhone 11 Pro Max, the company’s flagship.

It is available in three memory variants.A 64GB variant that is priced at Rs 42,500, a 128GB variant that is available for Rs 47,800 and a 256GB memory variant that costs Rs 58,300.
