Realme X50 Pro 5G starts receiving Realme UI 2.0 Android 11 update

Realme is ready with its first-ever Android 11 stable build rollout. The Realme X50 Pro 5G is the first phone by the company to receive the taste of the latest Android sweetness. The upgrade was under beta testing since September and is now available for everyone to use on their daily drivers.

The Realme X50 Pro Android 11 update will arrive as Realme UI 2.0 on your devices. The build number for the update is RMX2076PU_11.C.16 and it weighs 827 MB in size. If you are on a cellular data connection, it is advised that you connect to a WiFi connection first. It is a staged rollout so it may take some time before the update actually lands on your particular unit.

The official announcement notes that if you have a lot of third-party apps installed on your phone, it may take longer for it to do the first reboot after the update installation. It has further added after a successful upgrade, “system will perform a series of actions such as application adaptation, background optimization, and security scanning. The system will occupy more processor performance, memory, and other resources, which may cause the device to function a bit slow and consume more power.”

This is the Realme is advising users to give phone at least five hours after a full charge or simply keep using the phone as usual for three days. Thereafter, the phone is expected to start working normally.
