Samsung Galaxy M12 passes through Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi certifications

Samsung is readying the Samsung Galaxy M12 smartphone, this is apparent from a couple of certifications the device has passed through. First, the device has been spotted on Bluetooth SIG with the moniker ‘Samsung Galaxy M12’ and with a number of different model numbers SM-M127F/DS, SM-F127G/DS, and SM-M127F/DSN.

One of these model numbers SM-M127F/DS was also spotted at the Wi-Fi Alliance listing, confirming the device has passed one more important certification and is ready to launch soon. The Wi-Fi Alliance listing shows the phone runs Android 11 out-of-the-box. The listing doesn’t bring any more information, other than the 2.4GHz frequency band.

The Bluetooth SIG listing, on the other hand, confirms nothing else, except for the name.

The renders show quad cameras on the back, teardrop-style notch on the display. The back panel has a dual-textured design with a striped pattern on the top section and a smooth glossy bottom section where the Samsung logo is also printed. The renders suggest the Galaxy M12 has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor a USB Type-C port at the bottom edge. The 3.5mm headphone jack and speaker grill are located alongside the charging port at the bottom.

Previous reports have suggested, the Samsung Galaxy M12 may feature a 6.7-inch display with a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. It is also expected to be equipped with a massive 7,000mAh battery.

It is currently when the Galaxy M12 will launch but its respective certifications suggest the launch is pretty imminent.
