Xiaomi has pretty much confirmed the launch of the Mi Note 10 Lite after it teased it on the Mi Community forum.
Mi Note 10 Lite will be launched as a part of the Redmi Note 9 series launch event on April 30, Xiaomi has revealed. The company is hosting a global launch event wherein it is expected to introduce multiple phones for the international markets.
The Mi Note 10 Lite is now set to be one of these upcoming phones and is expected to be a slightly toned-down model of the Mi Note 10 that was launched earlier. Xiaomi has also confirmed that it will launch the Mi Note 10 globally during the launch event.
Mi Note 10 Lite specifications
The Mi Note 10 Lite is a more affordable alternative of the Mi Note 10 camera beast. It will have a similar front panel, but only four shooters on the back, lined up vertically, along with two LED flashes.
As opposed to the regular Mi Note 10, the Mi Note 10 Lite is said to come with a 64-megapixel primary camera as opposed to the full-fledged Mi Note 10 which has a 108-megapixel camera.
Talking about the specs, Mi Note 10 Lite will be powered by the Snapdragon 730G SoC and come with a 6.47-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display.
The FCC listing had revealed in the past that the Mi Note 10 Lite will feature a five-camera setup on the back with a primary 64-megapixel camera, two 8-megapixel lenses, one 5-megapixel lens, and one 2-megapixel unit.
The setup could include a main camera, a wide-angle shooter, a depth sensor, and a telephoto camera. Further, there will not be support for laser auto-focus tech too with the phone.
The software on the phone is said to be the latest Android 10. Other than this, the phone will be powered by a 5,260 mAh battery charged at 30W. Connectivity options may include dual-band Wi-Fi, and the phone is claimed to be 156mm tall and 73mm wide.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Xiaomi is hosting an online event that will be live-streamed on Twitter and YouTube.
Xiaomi is rumored to be gearing up for the launch of the Redmi K30i also.
