In an endeavor to provide increased convenience to customers, Suzuki Motorcycle has launched a new doorstep service in India. Under the purview of this service, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer will not only deliver your new Suzuki bike at your home but provide after-sales service at your doorstep as well.
Aimed at making sure that customers’ demands are adequately met during and post Covid-19 lockdown, the new Suzuki at your doorstep program will be integrated within the company’s official website.
So as to enable customers to schedule test-rides, buy, and opt for after-sales services at the mere click of a button. Suzuki said the at your doorstep program will be made available in 112 cities across India.
Buying a Suzuki bike or scooter in India via this program will involve five simple steps, the company explained. Starting with booking a Suzuki product, customers will then be able to select a colour for their vehicle, and then the dealer before choosing the payment mode and finally selecting the date and time.
The company promises that digital purchases are easy and include a hassle-free process.
Koichiro Hirao, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are pleased to introduce ‘Suzuki at your doorstep’ program that enables customers to purchase their desired two-wheeler as per their convenience through their mobile phones and laptops.
The online booking, doorstep delivery, and service of Suzuki vehicles has been introduced keeping the safety and wellbeing of our customers and employees at the core of the initiative.
With our online sales solution, we look forward to bring in positivity in the two-wheeler segment and the overall industry post-COVID-19.”
Suzuki Motorcycle explained that with this new service, customers will also be able to book Suzuki two-wheelers via a toll-free number (1800-121-7996) and also connecting the same call to the nearest dealership in case they wish to visit the dealership.
Customers will also be offered the choice to pay for their Suzuki two-wheeler in full via an online gateway and the invoice detail will be shared with the customer, of course.
The service does not include financial services at the moment, though the company says ‘Suzuki at your Doorstep’ program will also include easy online financing on the online purchase of any vehicle pretty soon.
And for those who want test-rides, Suzuki Motorcycle assures that vehicles will be properly sanitized to ensure safety. Whereas for service requests, the company will provide doorstep assistance to tend to minor faults or for regular servicing, excluding washing.
In fact, customers who reside within a 5 km radius of the dealership can also avail doorstep vehicle pick up and drop service.
